Radar Reminder does exactly that - Speed Camera reminders for you - to "check your speed"!

Every day there is a new batch of covert Mobile Speed Camera locations published and posted by SAPOL to their website.

Radar Reminder delivers reminders of those published locations when youre driving in proximity to those published locations.

We also provide warnings for Fixed Cameras - about 200m before you get there.

We update our app as soon as SAPOL updates theirs; usually Tuesday evenings.


Radar Reminder has a handy GPS speedometer on the dashboard as well as Start & Stop buttons for easy muting of the alerts.

You can also single tap the bottom circle to mute the audio alerts for 30 seconds, or, double tap to full mute. Single tap again to re-enable audio.

Check Settings for all alert toggles enabled!

Be sure to have your phone safely secured in a cradle or similar.

Do not hold your phone in your hand when driving. It is illegal.

You can set the minimum speed before you receive an alert to prevent unnecessary alerts while youre stationary. 25 Km/h is a good setting.

You can also set the Mobile Speed Camera and Fixed Speed Camera alerts to repeat every 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5-minute intervals.

The Free with Adverts version delivers three different types of alerts for speed cameras in the "Foreground Mode" = Dashboard on screen.

* Visual (pop-up screen for 6 seconds) - optional with toggle.
